Cold Water Immersion

Deliberate exposure to cold temperatures has shown to have numerous positive effects on the body.

Subjecting the body to cold activates the sympathetic nervous system, triggering physiological responses including the release of neurotransmitters like norepinephrine and dopamine.

This has been shown have positive effects on blood flow & brown fat activation, influence insulin sensitivity, reduce post-exercise muscle soreness, and improve mental health.

At Recovery + we offer cold exposure through cold water immersion, allowing our clients to experience the many benefits on offer. Our tubs are maintained to the highest standard, prioritising hygiene, safety and optimal temperature control.
